Enroll in our online course “Introduction to the Chinese Language” to become familiar with the basics of the Chinese language.

The most widely spoken language in the world, used by over a billion people, is notable for its intricate pronunciation and writing.

The course is conducted in Russian and employs an immersive approach that actively engages the students.

Upon completing the course, every student will have the opportunity to decide whether they wish to pursue further studies in this captivating language, which, among other things, opens pathways to exploring a rich and diverse Eastern culture.

The instruction is led by Madina Shevyreva, an expert in East Asian studies. Madina earned her degree in “East Asian Studies” from the Humanities Department of Novosibirsk State University and has been teaching the Chinese language to both children and adults for more than a decade.

The course will offer a chance to uncover the enigma of the “Chinese script,” an ancient hieroglyphic writing system that continues to be utilised in the present day.

To achieve a deeper understanding of the nuances of one of the most ancient languages, our sessions will delve into the historical and cultural realities of China.

Apart from conducting a concise examination of the phonetic and grammatical aspects of the Chinese language (termed “Putonghua” in Chinese and often recognised as Mandarin in Europe), our curriculum will encompass a dedicated exploration of fundamental hieroglyphs and vocabulary. This multifaceted approach ensures that students not only gain insights into linguistic mechanics but also embark on a captivating journey through the cultural tapestry that the language is woven into.
